Joseph Anthony Tremblay, 26, of Warren, died on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, at his residence following a lengthy illness with renal failure, awaiting transplant. Joey was born July 14, 1994, in Warren, the son of Joseph H. Tremblay and wife Dee, of Warren, and Kimlea Sherry and partner Ed Nolte, of Warren.

He was a 2010 graduate of the Warren Area High School and was in the US Army Reserves for the past eight years, stationed in Erie He was most recently employed at Walmart as a Cap associate in the produce department. Joey studied the martial arts and was a 4th degree blackbelt, studying with his father and Rick Johnson.

He loved the outdoors, kayaking, hiking, and the shooting sports. In addition to his parents, Joey is survived by his fiance’, Nicole Marie Reges; two brothers, Jericho Tremblay and fiance’ Brianna Ferren, of Warren, and Nathan Sherry, also of Warren; a stepson, Michael Crews; his maternal grandmother, Deborah Ruzich; paternal grandparents, Claire and Diane Tremblay; grandmother Andrea Rossman; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. and several cousins.

Friends and family will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave. East, Warren, PA 16365, on Friday, October 2, from 5 to 8 pm. All CDC guidelines will be followed, and masks must be worn at all times. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3, in Section 40 of the Oakland Cemetery, with Rev. Dale Haight, officiating.
