Curnow Hert, whom he married October 29, 1988; two sons, Bradley Hert, who serves in the US Navy stationed in Norfolk, VA and attached to the USS Harry S.Truman; Marcus Hert, his fiancé Chelsea, and son Riley of Jamestown, NY; a sister, Terri Ludwig and husband Dave, Warren, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Doug was preceded in death by his father Charles “Chuck” Hert in 2001, and his brother Randy Hert in 2020. Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc., 1003 Penna. Ave East, Warren, on Wednesday, January 20, from 3 to 5 pm. A funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
