Andy CloseHelen A. Carlson, 85, a resident at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, Pa., passed away Monday, Aug. 23, 2021.
Mrs. Carlson was born April 18, 1936, in Youngsville, to the late George and Anna Senchuk.
She graduated from the Youngsville High School class of 1954 and worked at the New Process for over 40 years. She was a life-time member of the Youngsville Free Methodist Church for many years.
She is survived by two sisters: ary Spotts of Vermont and Bonnie Dove of South Carolina: two nephews and several nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arvid Carlson; and two brothers: Peter and Nick Senchuk.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m., at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St., Youngsville, PA 16371. The Rev. Jeff York, chaplain of the Rouse Home, officiating.
