Full Month of Programming at The Schorman Center in November

WARREN, Pa. – It will be a busy November for The Schorman Center at Hospice of Warren County.

All the programs and workshops are available free of charge.

Tuesdays throughout the month will feature the “Going Solo” workshops. These workshops are for newly single people who have lost a loved one. The workshops will be at 4 p.m. at First Lutheran Church (109 W Third Ave) and topics include “Cooking for One” (Nov. 1), “Painting Your Feelings” (Nov. 8), “Coping with Holiday Grief” (Nov. 15), and “Legal Documents at End of Life” (Nov. 22).

The Hospice Annual Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 6 at Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church (444 Pennsylvania Ave W). This nondenominational service is open to the entire community.

The Hospice Service of Solace will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4 at St. Joseph’s Church (600 Pennsylvania Ave W). This nondenominational service is open to the community and is designed for those struggling to feel the joy of the holiday season.
