Free Wi-Fi Now Available at Kinzua Point Information Center

June 5, 2023

WARREN, Pa. – Travelers headed to one of the numerous outdoor recreation areas near the Kinzua Dam now have at least one way to help stay connected to the rest of the world.

Free Wi-Fi is now available at Kinzua Point Information Center courtesy of the Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry. The connection now gives visitors, as well as staff or those in an emergency situation, a place to get connected in an area with little cellular reception.

“This is just one of the many community service projects that WCCBI facilitates,” WCCBI said in an email to Your Daily Local. “As the Lead Economic Development Agency for Warren County, WCCBI staff are always looking for ways to assist our visitors in providing them with the best possible experience in our community, promote local business, assist County residents, and lead Warren County to Economic and Community Excellence.”

KPIC is located on Route 59 on the left-hand side of the road just before the Morrison Bridge (if you’re heading east). Unmanned for most of the year, the Warren County Visitors Bureau staffs KPIC from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. every weekend throughout the summer.

Those looking to connect can find information on signs and banners posted at KPIC, or stop in to see the friendly staff during normal operating hours. The Wi-Fi will be available 24/7.

“Not only will the free Wi-Fi assist in those needing directions, but can be used in case of any emergency and helps support the efforts of the Warren County Visitors Bureau staff,” WCCBI said.
