Eisenhower, Youngsville Softball Drop Road Contests

ERIE, Pa. – Baelyn Randolph was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs as Iroquois beat Eisenhower, 15-3 in five innings.

Iroquois scored eight runs in the third inning, as Fiona Yelkovich was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs, Phoenix Thomas scored twice and had three hits, Mila Gehrlein-Carpenter was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs and Neela Lamp was 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs.

Thomas got the win, allowing three runs on two hits while striking out 10 and walking two.

Samantha Childs was 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs for Eisenhower.

Emilie Jones took the loss, allowing eight runs in four innings on eight hits, striking out two and walking one.

OSWAYO VALLEY 10, YOUNGSVILLE 0, 6 INNINGS

SHINGLEHOUSE, PA. – Shayden Mesler tossed a three-hit shutout to lead Oswayo Valley to a 10-0, six0inning win over visiting Youngsville.

Mesler struck out five and walked two.

Eva West hit a home run for the Green Wave and was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and four RBIs.

Layken Enty also drove in a pair of runs for Oswayo Valley and was 3-for-4 with three runs scored, while Catelyn Dailey was 2-for-4 with a run scored, and Jadyn Fleischman was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.

Hailey Gray, Alyssa Gentz, and Victora Romanosky had singles for Youngsville.

Kamden Sweringen took the loss going 5 ⅓ innings allowing 10 runs, six earned, on 12 hits while striking out seven.
