Eisenhower Falls to West Middlesex in D10 Volleyball Playoffs

COCHRANTON, Pa. – Despite a 3-0 (25-15, 25-11, 25-15) setback to West Middlesex in the District 10 Class 1A quarterfinals Tuesday, Eisenhower coach Patti Mead felt the Knights “showed great progress” throughout the season.

The Lady Knights finished the regular season 7-9 overall and 7-7 in region play to qualify for the playoffs as the No. 7 seed. Many of the team’s primary contributors, including three of the four statistical leaders Tuesday, will return next season.

The team has shown great progress this season and we look forward to building our team for next season,” Mead said.

Rayna Hultman had two kills and seven digs. Mikenzie Miller had two kills and two blocks, Caroline Smyth had a kill and three blocks, and Lexi Pascuzzi served a pair of aces.

Kennedy Beatty paced the Big Reds with 11 kills. Abby Keckler had eight kills and four aces. Izzy D’Onofrio and Alaina Bowers each had eight digs, while Emma Mild and Avery Hanahan each had five digs.
