Bobcats keeper Rorri Mueller had to fend off strong Eisenhower pressure in the second half, including a pair of late corner kicks. The senior squared-up nearly every shot and kept the Knights off the board.
The Knights found themselves in another physical contest similar to their 2-1 victory over Cambridge Springs on Tuesday. Eisenhower’s Elley Eastman and Seneca’s Sage Slowikowski were seemingly locked up the entire match as both used their speed and skill to battle for the ball.
The win was Seneca’s third this season over Eisenhower, all three were by identical 2-0 scores.
Eisenhower finished the season 11-5-1, another strong campaign from the Lady Knights.
Seneca will face Mercer for the District 10 Class 1A championship at a time, date and location to be determined.
