Eisenhower Falls in Extra Innings to Cambridge Springs

RUSSELL, Pa. – Tristan Mazzadra hit a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to lift Cambridge Springs to an 8-5 win over Eisenhower.

Cambridge Springs took a 4-3 lead in the top of the sixth, but Spencer Wynn’s RBI single tied the game in the bottom half of the innings.

Mazzadra also got the win, going four innings and allowing four runs (two earned) on six hits, striking out seven and walking one.

Bryce Kania and Owen Riley also had an RBI each for Cambridge Springs.

For Eisenhower, Derek Childs, Wynn, and Kael Hunt both had two hits and an RBI, while Johnny Palmieri was 1-for-5 with an RBI.

Garrett Jensen took the loss, allowing four runs (two earned) in two innings.
