RUSSELL, Pa. – Sam Gonzalez scored 26 points as Erie First Christian rallied from a 14-point third-quarter deficit to earn a 68-57 non-region win over Eisenhower.
Eisenhower led 46-32 late in the third quarter, but EFC outscored them 36-11 the rest of the way.
Gonzalez drained three triples en route to the win and Allegheny Grille of Foxburg Player of the Game honors.
Evan Montefiori also had a big game for the Eagles, scoring 19 points. Gonzalez scored 17 points in the second half and Montefiori 15. Jesse Jong was also in double figures with 13 points, while Anthony Collins added eight.
Wyatt Lookenhouse had another big game for Eisenhower, pouring in a game-high 27 points, including 10 in the third quarter.
Curt Darling added 14 points for the Knight, while Kael Hunt added six and Kyler Black and Takhari Warren five each.
