Eisenhower Cross Country Splits with Rocky Grove

FRANKLIN, Pa. – The Eisenhower cross country team earned a split with Rocky Grove via a tiebreakers in the girls race.

The Knights and Orioles came out of the girls race tied at 28, but the tie-breaker went to Eisenhower. The Knights’ sixth place finisher, Kendra Chase, took 10th overall, while the Orioles’ Shayla Kee finished 11th.

Rocky Grove won the boys race, 25-32, with Magnum Vincent (17:24) taking first place. Eisenhower’s Ethan Kellogg narrowly held off the Rocky Grove duo of Ethan Knapp and Evan Wolfgang for second place. Kellogg finished in 18:28, while Knapp and Wolfgang came in at 18:29.

The Orioles’ Kaylin Jacoby took top honors in the girls race with a time of 25:06. Eisenhower’s Chloe Lasecki (27:08) and Madison Cathcart (27:30) took second and third, respectively.
