Early Deficit Proves Too Much as Eisenhower Boys Drop Region 3 Road Contest

January 17, 2023

COCHRANTON, Pa. – Cochranton grabbed a 6-point lead through the first quarter and made it hold up in a 60-56 Region 3 win over Eisenhower.

The Cardinals led 19-13 after the first eight minutes, and though the Knights won the fourth quarter, 16-14, it wasn’t enough to erase the early deficit.

Walker Carroll led Cochranton with 20 points. Dawson Carroll and Landon Homa each scored 15 points in the win.

Kyler Black had a game-high 21 points for the Knights. Kael Hunt poured in 15 and Kris Bunk had eight.
