Dragons Play Long Ball in Win Over Oil City

OIL CITY, Pa. – Micah Passmore and Ben Berdine hit back-to-back home runs in the first inning and Warren was well on its way in a 13-4 win over Oil City.

Eric Dippold got the win in relief of Ethan Wilson, tossing 4 ⅓ scoreless innings on four hits, striking out one.

Warren (8-3) scored in five of the seven innings, including five in the fourth and three in the second.

Berdine, James Swanson, J.T. Blum and Konner Hoffman all hit doubles.

The top four hitters in the Warren lineup – Blum, Passmore, Berdine, and Swanson, combined to go 8-for-16 with seven RBIs and nine runs.

Berdine and Passmore had three RBIs each. Berdine also had three hits and Swanson two, while Passmore scored three runs and Blum, Berdine, and Swanson had two each.

Owen Blum also drove in a pair of the Dragons.

Koen Bearer, Justin Dunkle, and Jacob Teeter all drove in runs for OC, with Bearer driving in a pair.
