Dragons’ Offense Shines in Win Over Fort LeBoeuf

WATERFORD, Pa. – Owen Blum went 2-for-4 and drove in three runs as Warren powered past Fort LeBouef, 9-3.

The Dragons led 3-1 and broke the game open with a 4-run sixth inning. Blum, Ben Berdine, and James Swanson all drove in runs in the inning.

Micah Passmore was 2-for-4 with two doubles and two runs, Ethan Wilson 2-for-4 with a double and two runs, Berdine 2-for-4 with two RBIs, and J.T. Blum 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI.

Dylan Maeder got the win, allowing one run in four innings on five hits and two walks. He struck out three. J.T. Blum gave up two unearned runs in an inning of relief, while Berdine went two shutout frames, recording all six outs via strikeout.

Aiden Lesik and Ryan Welka had two hits apiece for Fort LeBoeuf. Nick Dooley took the loss, allowing 13 hits and six earned runs in six innings. He struck out three.
