Dragons Look to get Back Above .500 When They Travel to Seneca

October 22, 2021

WARREN, Pa. – Warren gave unbeaten Northwestern all it could handle last week in a 22-7 setback in Albion.

Friday, they will seek to get back over the .500 mark when they travel to Wattsburg to take on the Seneca Bobcats, with kickoff slated for 7 p.m.

The Dragons (4-4) are a big banged up, but have time and again this season found a way to overcome adversity.

Eric Dippold has thrown for 1,104 yards and 13 touchdowns, with Ben White one of District 10’s top receivers, accounting for 619 yards and eight touchdowns. Tommy Nyquist (585 yards, 5 touchdowns) and Ethan Senz (266 yards, 3 touchdowns) are the top backs.

Seneca (2-5) is coming off a 16-6 win over Union City. Quarterback Nolan Seabury directs the offense to the tune of 822 yards passing, 582 rushing and 11 total touchdowns. Collin Libra (306 yards, 2 scores) is the top target.

The Dragons Region 5 schedule is done, and they have one more game scheduled next week against Corry before embarking on the District 10 Class 4A playoffs.

Seneca snapped a lengthy losing streak earlier this season with a 26-14 victory over Iroquois back on Sept. 24.
