Dragons Fall at Girard

GIRARD, Pa. – Carson Stevens threw for 269 yards and five touchdowns to lead Girard to a 49-13 win over Warren.

The Yellow Jackets built a 28-6 halftime lead as Stevens threw touchdowns passes to Tyler Mayes (17 yards), James Kibbe (44 yards) and Derek Robinson (2 yards), while also getting a 40-yard touchdown run from Jeremiah Colon to open the scoring.

Kibbe and Stevens hooked up for a 49-yard score in the third quarter, with Stevens capping his evening with a 15-yard scoring strike to Aidan Arnold.

Eric Dippold threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Matt Sowa in the first half and Dippold scored on a 1-yard touchdown run in the second half.

Kibbe finished with 136 yards receiving for Girard.

Dippold threw for 172 yards, 113 of which went to John Corbett.
