Dragons Drop Non-Region Contest to Erie High

WARREN, Pa. – Parks Ordiway scored 15 points, J.T. Blum 12 and Tommy Nyquist made his season debut for the Warren Dragons on Wednesday, but it was visiting Erie High that came away with a 65-46 non-region win over the Dragons.

The Royals led by two, 30-28 at halftime, but outscored the Dragons 35-18 in the second half en route to the win.

Layveon Gore, who scored 11 of his 19 points in the second half for Erie, was named Icyy Ink Player of the Game and talked about the win afterward:

Jay Smith knocked down a pair of third-quarter threes for the Royals, scoring 12 of his 17 points in the second half. Kre Thompson scored 11 of his 14 points in the first half for Erie.

Nyquist and Bryce Blair added six points each for the Dragons.
