Andy CloseDorothy L. Reist, 86, of Warren, PA., died Saturday, June 5, 2021at the Rouse.
Home, Youngsville, PA. after an extended illness. She was born July 27, 1934 at Whig Hill, Forest Co., PA. She was the daughter of Ernest and Anna George Berlin. Dorothy was a Warren area resident her entire life and was a graduate of East Hickory High School. She was employed for 30 years in the personnel department at the former Blair Corporation. She was an avid cook. She enjoyed traveling, gardening especially in her flower garden.
Dorothy is survived by her husband of 67 years, Albert L. Reist whom she married on January 16, 1954, at Whig Hill, PA, as well as five Children – Sherry Smith of Youngsville, PA., Robert (Bob) Reist and wife, Joan of Warren, PA., Tim Reist of Youngsville, PA., Linda Kasaback and husband, Gregory of Ludlow, PA., Cathy Yeskey of Youngsville, PA., Donna Lewis of Maryland, Helen Whitten of Warren, PA., eght grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 Brothers – John, Jim and Eugene Berlin, 1 Sister – Genevieve Rosenquist, 1 Granddaughter – Casey Reist.
