Andy CloseDavid Wayne Brewer, 59, of Warren, Pa., passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Erie, Pa., on March 17, 2022.
Dave was born on Oct. 4, 1962, in Lancaster, Pa., the son of the late William Brewer and Janet Lindemin Brewer.
Dave worked at PennDOT as an equipment, operator for over 20 years where he retired due to illness.
Dave enjoyed playing pool and darts but especially loved spending time with family and his grandchildren.
Dave is survived by his three children: Josh Anderson of Youngsville, Pa., Jennifer Brewer of Warren, Pa., and Alisa Kightlinger and husband, Brandon of Sheffield, Pa.; brother, Edward Brewer and wife, Sherry of Warren, Pa.; seven grandchildren: Katie Kemery, Michael Brewer, Katrina Hennessy, Devin Kightlinger, Hailey Brewer, Tyler Conklin and Lanah Kightlinger; one great-grandchild, Selena Brewer; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Dave is preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Brewer; and his brother, Bill Brewer.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc. 1003 Penna. Ave. E. Warren, Pa., on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, from 3-5 p.m., at which time a funeral service will be held, with the Rev. Rick Hamrick, pastor, Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating.
