Andy CloseDavid C. Stevenson, 69, of Russell, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2022, in St. Vincent Hospital, Erie, Pa.
He was born on Jan. 6, 1953, the son of the late Robert and Florence (Wolsencroft) Stevenson.
David retired as vice president of Computer Operations with Northwest Savings Bank, Warren, and was a member of the North Warren Presbyterian Church.
David was a volunteer in the North Warren Fire Department. He was active in the Rec Softball and Over 30 Softball Leagues, bowling, and loved the game of golf.
He was a dedicated employee, a compassionate man with a quick wit and a great sense of humor. He was always the life of a party. He loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Shannon I. (Feeny) Stevenson, whom he married on May 25, 1991; and one sister, Barbara Cook of Warren; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents David was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Swanson; brother, Robert Stevenson II.
A celebration of David’s life will be announced and held at a later date. Private burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Russell.
