Daniel K. Albaugh

Daniel K. Albaugh, 69, of Russell, PA., died peacefully with his family at his side, Wednesday evening, August 18, 2021, after a 3- year courageous battle with cancer.

Dan was born March 23, 1952, in Warren, PA. He was the son of the late Virgil K. and Con-stance Corbran Albaugh. Dan was a lifelong Warren-Russell, PA area resident. He was a 1970 graduate of Warren Area High School. He had served with the U.S. Navy from 1972 to 1976 working on the USS Guadalcanal Ship, performing radar duties. He was employed with Nation-al Fuel Company of James-town, N.Y. for 35 years, re-tiring as foreman in 2012. He was co-owner of the High Point Camp in Scandia, PA. Dan was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman.

He was a member of the Warren American Legion Post 135. He is remembered lovingly by his family, as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, who was always kind and loving. His whole world was his children and grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 38 years, F. Darlene Klink Albaugh whom he married July 16, 1983, in Grove City, PA., 2 Children – Amanda Albaugh of Russell, PA., Daniel M. Al-baugh and wife, Brianne of East Earl, PA., 1 Sister – Cheryl Reagle and husband, Larry of Russell, PA., 3 Grandchildren – Shayleigh Albaugh, Talon Kinney, and Nolan Albaugh; Nephew – Jeffrey Young and wife, Tara and their children Preston & Loretta all of Bradenton, FL., several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA., on Saturday, August 21, 2021, from 2 to 4 P.M. followed by a funeral and committal service with Rev. Nancy Schwanke, Pastor of Hessel Valley Lutheran Church, officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by members of the Clarendon/Sheffield V.F.W. and Warren American Legion Post 135 funeral honor guard and the U.S. Navy.
