Damore Posts First 600 of Season, Joins Andersen Atop Varsity Teams

YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Warren Area High School sophomore Braddock Damore has been heating up the lanes at Valley Bowling Center of late.

During Friday League action on Feb. 11, Damore finished with a high-game 242 to complete his first 600 series (646) of the season. That was also good enough to earn him the top spot on the boys’ Varsity Team for the week ending Feb. 12 with an even 700.

Damore had already bowled 536 and 571 series’ in Friday League play, and earned a spot on the Varsity Team for the week of Jan. 15.

Joining Damore on the boys team were Warren’s Owen Blum, who just missed his second straight 700 Varsity Team score with a 694, Youngsville’s Konnor Eck (652) and Eisenhower’s Kris Bunk (633).

Warren’s Alyssa Andersen posted the top score for the girls with a 663, narrowly topping Eisenhower’s Payton Frank (661) and Warren’s Ella Card (655). Warren’s Ellee Irwin (629) rounded out the girls’ team.
