Cynthia L. Wagner

Cynthia L. Wagner, 61, of Warren, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 following a lengthy illness.

Cindy was born May 28, 1959, in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late Lloyd and Joyce Johnson Irwin. Cindy attended Warren Area High School and was employed at the Warren State Hospital as a Psychiatric Aide, from which she retired in 2017. Cindy was an avid gardener and extraordinarily successful with her rose bushes and blueberry bushes. She also enjoyed crafting of any kind. Cindy spent many hours as a volunteer taking care of the library at church. Cindy especially enjoyed her family, her grandchildren, and her canine grandchildren.

She is survived by her five children, John R. (Shelly) Wagner Jr., Candi (Jesse) Ross, Angel Wagner, Jolene (Jacob) Conrad, and Beth Wagner; nine grandchildren, John, Steven, Chase, Michael, Monique and Titus Wagner; RJ, Jaylynn, and Elizabeth Silvis; great-grandchildren, John and Asher Wagner; and three siblings, Kevin (Teresa) Irwin, Brenda (Wayne) Harrison, and Pamela (Martin) Durnell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 2016 by her husband, John R. Wagner Sr., whom she married on June 12, 1976; her brother, Kenneth Irwin in 2002; and her mother-in-law, Alice Young in 2015.

Friends will be received at the Warren Alliance Church on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 4 to 6 pm, and for one hour prior to a funeral service to be held at the church on Thursday, December 3 at 11 am, with Rev. Doug McCracken, pastor, and Rev. Anthony Durmell, co- officiating.

Burial will be in the Hessell Valley Lutheran Cemetery, Sugar Grove, PA. The family suggest memorial donations be made to the Warren Alliance Church Library Fund, 278 Kinzua Road, Warren, PA, 16365 Those wishing to send condolences online may do so by visiting
