
WARREN, Pa. – The Crary Art Gallery will feature two exhibition opening beginning this Saturday (Oct. 1) and going through Nov. 6.
An exhibition will be held on Saturday from 3-6 p.m. at the gallery, free of charge, featuring the works of Paul Mommer: A Life in Art, as well as Marion Sanford: A Woman at Work.
The first exhibition of works spans the career of Modernist painter Paul Mommer (1899-1963). Mommer was in a tight circle of New York artists that included the pioneering Abstract Expressionists.
The sculpture gallery features the work of Sanford, with a great number of her sculptures on loan from the Warren County Historical Society.
The Crary will also offer a series of workshops and holiday activities. To register, go to craryartgallery.org.
Exhibition hours after the opening are Fridays and Saturdays from 12-6 p.m. and Sundays from 12-4 p.m. Admission is free.
