Craig Martin Johnson, 68, of Warren, Pa., passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021, at his residence following a lengthy illness.

Craig was born June 8, 1953, in Warren, the son of the late Tony and Betty Johnson Mascaro.

A lifelong Warren resident, Craig was a 1971 graduate of Warren Area High School. Craig was a head carpenter at the United Refining Company for many years, from which he retired. Craig was an avid hunter, archer, and golfer. He was a member of the Warren Archery Club, the Pine Grove Sportsmen’s Club, the Jackson Valley Country Club, and the Moose Lodge 109.

Craig was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. He especially loved his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and cared for him.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy E. Anderson Johnson, whom he married on Oct, 11, 1986; a daughter, Jennifer Norconk and her husband, Timothy; three grandchildren: Teagan, Finley and Emmyrson Norconk; a sister, Kim Swedler and husband Jack, of Warren; a brother, Joe Mascaro and wife, Brenda of Pittsburgh; his mother-in-law, Frances Anderson of Warren; a sister-in-law, Lois Anderson Heffner and her husband, Dean of Warren; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life for Craig will be held at the Warren Moose Lodge on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 from noon until 3 pm.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren County, One Main Ave. Warren, PA 16365 or to the Melanoma Research Foundation, P.O. Box 719329, Philadelphia, PA 19171-9329.
