Compost Available for City Residents

April 9, 2021

WARREN, Pa. – City of Warren residents can once again gather excess compost available as a result of the fall leaf collection program.

The compost, available free to city residents, consists of leaves collected during the fall leaf collection program, as well as chipped brush and tree debris and yard waste from the Harmar Street collection site.

The compost may be picked up at Betts Park (near the tennis courts). Residents are responsible for loading and may only use hand tools. The site is open during daylight hours and residents will need to provide identification in order to ensure the compost goes only to city residents.

No heavy equipment may be used and contractors are not permitted to remove material.
