Community Blood Bank Holding Pair of Drives in Warren County

WARREN, Pa. – Community Blood Bank will be hosting a pair of blood drives in Warren County this week.

Holy Redeemer Chuch will host a drive on Tuesday (Aug. 16) from noon until 5:30 p.m.

The Youngsville Fire Hall will host a drive on Wednesday (Aug. 17) from noon to 5 p.m.

“We’ve never recovered since COVID,” Community Blood Bank Mobile Drive Coordinator Kathy Hastings said in an interview with YourDailyLocal last month. “Also, the hospitals are needing more. Summer is a bad time. Accidents happen and people tend to do surgeries more in the summer because they’re off.”

Appointments are not required but are recommended and may be made by calling (814) 456-4206.
