The Warren County Commissioners issued a proclamation recognizing the week of Sept. 12-18 as direct support professionals week.
In doing so, they recognized the work as integral to physical and mental health of veterans and senior citizens with other disabilities for severe chronic health conditions.

“We truly appreciate the recognition,” Seeker said. “I’ve worked in the field since 1986 and the recognition that Warren County has given us has been overwhelming.”
