Chapman State Park to Host Nightscape Astrophotography Program

CLARENDON, Pa. – Chapman State Park will be hosting a nightscape astrophotography program on Saturday, Aug. 6.

From 8:30-10:30 p.m., join Dave Wilkins, astrophotographer and volunteer for the Martz Observatory (located in Frewsburg, NY) as he teaches the basics of nightscape astrophotography.

Wilkins will cover the how (the use of correct camera settings), where (dark location options), when (time of year) and what (objects that you can shoot with the gear you have) to shoot.

A camera, tripod, camera shutter trigger or timer function are required to participate in this program.
