WARREN, Pa. – Another successful Terry F. Ristau Industrial Memorial Softball Tournament is in the books.
The tournament, which began on Friday and concluded on Sunday, featured plenty of exciting action, all for a great cause.
All proceeds from the event go to the United Fund of Warren County.
“It’s just a great event every year,” said John Papalia of the Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry. “We want to thank all the businesses that participated.”
The Beaty co-ed squad even had some extra inspiration for their game against Cummins.
In the Men’s Industry division, Cummins took first place, beating the second-place Betts Bombers who took second, followed by the Betts Deffenders.
In the Men’s Open division, the Beehive Sports Podcast took first, followed by Vinnie’s Hitmen in second and Pub 302 third.
In the Co-Ed Industry division, URC Keystone took first, followed by Northwest and the Whirley Snappers.
In the Co-Ed Open division, Blue Collar Outdoors took first, followed by the Tidioute Bulldogs and Icyy Ink.
“There are so many people that help make this event possible,” Papalia said. “From the umpires to the volunteers, we truly appreciate everyone.”
