Andy CloseCarolyn M. Kane, 55, of the Warren Manor, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020.
She was born June 21, 1965, in Warren, Pa, a daughter to the late Francis and Eleanor (Riggs) Kane. Carolyn spent many years at Lakeshore Community Services and the Warren Manor where she was fortunate to be surrounded by many wonderful and caring nurses and caregivers.
Carolyn was known for her love of cloth dolls and ringing her bells. Although she could never talk, those that spent time with her quickly understood her language. Carolyn was blessed with a loving family, South Street school program, Lakeshore Community Services program friends and employees, the caring staff at Warren General during her many visits there, and the Warren Manor staff that was attentive to her needs.
Carolyn is survived by her siblings, Thomas Kane and his companion, Sue Cook, William Kane, both of Frewsburg, NY, Candace Laurie and Michael Kane, both of Russell, Pa; her niece, Kristine Powers and 2 nephews, Cody Travis and Austin Stoddard.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Travis.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at 11am at the Oakland Cemetery, 37 Mohawk Avenue, Warren, Pa 16365.
The family suggest memorial donations be made to the young adults managed by Lakeshore Community Services, 1020 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, Pa 16365.
