YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Youngsville’s Dominic Sproveri and Eisenhower’s Deirdre Nelson each bowled career highs during Saturday Strikers League play that led them to the top spot on their respective Varsity Teams at Valley Bowling Center.
Sproveri, a junior, had a career-high 204 game (his first 200 game) on his way to a 474 series. Nelson rolled a career-high 444 series.
Those marks put Sproveri and Nelson atop the boys’ and girls’ Varsity Teams with a 642 and a 696, respectively.
Rounding out the boys’ team were Finn Ordiway (628), Hunter Braley (627), and Casey Rich (597). Joining Nelson on the girls’ team were Payton Frank (678), Elley Eastman (669), and Lily Hokel (616).
Youngsville 5th grader Tanner Albaugh had a career-high game (155) and series (386) during Friday Juniors League play.
Frank and Sproveri tied for the high series of the week with 474.
