YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Warren’s Ben Lindquist took the top spot on the boys’ team, while Eisenhower’s Katie Bunk and Warren’s Alix Lytle tied for the top spot on the girls’ varsity teams at Valley Bowling for the week ending Jan. 15.
Lindquist had a 686 score for the week, 26 ahead of fellow Dragon Braddock Damore (660). Youngsville’s Dominic Sproveri and Wyatt Kepple followed with 642 and 634, respectively. Warren’s Owen Blum also finished the week with a 634.
Bunk and Lytle each finished the week with 665. Warren’s Ella Card had a 644 and Eisenhower’s Payton Frank rounded out the girl’s team with a 616.
Damore led all bowlers during Valley Friday Juniors play with a 570 series. He had a high-game 221. Konnor Eck (401), Lindquist (422) and Lytle (404) each finished above 400 as well.
Thomas Jukes had the top score in Saturday Strikers action with a 508 on the strength of a 223 high game. No other bowlers were over 400, though Ella Card (386), Tydus Chase (372), Deirdre Nelson (389), Steven Rex (356) and Sproveri (396) were all over 350.
