Bucs Blank Texans; Cowboys Top Steelers; Bears, Dolphins Win Shootouts in Flag Football

WARREN, Pa. – The Bucs and Cowboys defenses stood tall, while the Dolphins and Bears offenses lit up the scoreboard in NFL Little Legends Flag Football play Thursday.

BUCS 12, TEXANS 0
The Bucs’ defense pitched a shutout and helped its own cause with a pick-six to earn a 12-0 win over the Texans.

Tatum Alasky, Hazel Gilbert-Wennberg, Kinsley Dean, and Toby Leichtenberger led the flag-pulling defensively for the Bucs. Dean and Leichtenberger each recorded an interception, with Leichtenberger returning it all the way for a touchdown.

Dean had a first-half rushing TD in the win.

BEARS 32, BILLS 18
It was a team effort for the Bears as five different players scored to lead the Bears to a 32-18 win over the Bills.

Pete Bailey threw two touchdown passes, one each to Liam Muller and Ruthie Abplanalp. Muller added a rushing score and caught a 2-point conversion pass from Mary Bennett.

AJ Harris scored twice, once on a pick-six and once on a rushing TD.

Max Papalia had three rushing touchdowns for the Bills.

DOLPHINS 34, TITANS 24
Laken Dodge scored three times to help lead the Dolphins past the Titans, 34-24.

Dodge ran in all three of his touchdowns. Trent Wagner and Harrison Williams each added a rushing score as well. Williams also caught a 2-point conversion pass from Michael Abplanalp.

Gideon Milliman had two rushing touchdowns for the Titans, while Kenton McGraw and Harvey Reynolds each added a rushing TD.

COWBOYS 12, STEELERS 2
Clayton Dyke had a safety for the Steelers.
