YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the Brokenstraw Valley Swimming Pool will open back up this summer.
The official opening date is June 11, Borough Manager Wendy Wilcox announced at Monday’s Borough Council Meeting.
“We’ve drained and cleaned it all,” noted Youngsville Borough Foreman Mark Theuret. “We just have to make sure all the equipment will restart after two years.”
The process of hiring lifeguards is already underway, with applications available at Youngsville High School.
