TIDIOUTE, Pa. – The body of an unidentified man was discovered in the Allegheny River near Tidioute Friday afternoon, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Dispatchers received a call for a water rescue on Davey Hill Road in Tidioute at approximately 2:35 p.m. Friday. Emergency personnel arrived to find the body of an unidentified male in the water.
The body will be taken to a forensic pathologist in Erie where an autopsy will be performed on Monday. An official identification is expected to be made at that time.
