BREAKING: Body Discovered at Warren Residence on Wednesday

WARREN, Pa. – City of Warren Police confirmed that a body was discovered at a residence on Warren’s west end Wednesday afternoon.

UPDATE, 3:45 p.m. June 16, 2022: An 18-year-old Warren man is facing one count of criminal homicide in connection with this incident.

Initially calling the scene a “suspicious incident,” Warren Police Chief Joe Sproveri said in a statement that police discovered a body in the 600 block of Fourth Avenue after being called to the address at 2:41 p.m. Wednesday.

“The investigation resulted in the discovery of a deceased adult female,” Sproveri said. “The investigation is ongoing and additional information will be released when available and family notifications are complete.”

Warren PD said the following agencies are providing assistance in the investigation: Pennsylvania State Police, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Warren County District Attorney’s Office, and the Warren County Coroner’s Office.
