Blue Team Wins JVGC Ryder Cup; Lauffenberger Shoots Hole-In-One

WARREN, Pa. – The Blue Team won Jackson Valley Golf Course’s 2nd Annual Ryder Cup on Saturday by taking 15 of 24 available points.

The Ryder Cup is a 27-hole event featuring three forms of match play. Teams are chosen by blind draw and pairings are made by two pre-selected team captains. The Red and Blue team faced off in a series of team matches and singles matches.

Also at JVGC, member Scott Lauffenberger scored his first ever hole-in-one on Sept. 22. The ace was made on hole number 12, using a 7-iron from 148 yards. The hole-in-one was witnessed by his daughter, Allie.
