Black Takes First at Section 1 Wrestling, Host of Knights Advance to Districts

MEADVILLE, Pa. – Eisenhower’s Cael Black claimed first at 215 pounds to kick off the District 10 individual postseason at the Section I tournament.

Black earned an 8-3 decision over Girard’s Abraham Keep in the finals. Teammate Gannon Jaquay also advanced to the finals, where he dropped a hard-fought 4-2 decision to Fort LeBoeuf’s Connor McChesney.

Those two will be joined at the District 10 championships by teammates Tucker Lindell, Ryan Chambers, Griffin Williams and Brok English.

Youngsville’s Ian Mancuso and Logan McDonald also head to districts after 5th-place finishes.
