Benefit for Sugar Grove VFD Chief To Be Held Oct. 30

The Sugar Grove Volunteer Fire Department will be holding a benefit to support chief Gene Falconer and his family on Oct. 30, beginning at 4 p.m. at the station.

Falconer was involved in an accident on Oct. 13 and will now have lifelong neurological deficits.

The will feature food and drinks, as well as a Chinese Auction and a live auction to begin at about 6:30 p.m.

Tickets will be available soon for a raffle for a 1/2 pig, with all proceeds to benefit the Falconers.
