HADLEY, Pa. – Beaty’s volleyball teams finished off a 2-week undefeated stretch by capturing the Commodore Perry Tournament championships on March 18.
The 8th grade team improved its season record to 12-0-1 after picking up wins over Sheffield (25-13, 25-17, 25-5) on March 7, Eisenhower (25-10, 25-27, 25-13) on March 9, and Cochranton (19-25, 25-22, 25-7) on March 16.
Beaty went 4-1 in pool play at the CP tournament, notching wins over Crawford Christian, Commodore Perry, Lakeview, and Reynolds, while suffering a loss to Titusville. That earned the Dragons the top seed and a bye to the tournament semifinals. In the semis, Beaty defeated Reynolds, 25-11. The Dragons then swept Lakeview (25-20, 25-7) to win the championship.

The 7th grade team also got wins over Sheffield (25-15, 25-5), Eisenhower (25-14, 18-25, 25-15), and Cochranton (25-20, 29-27, 25-21) to improve to 11-2 on the season.
Beaty went a perfect 4-0 in pool play, defeating Crawford Christian, Commodore Perry, Lakeview, and Titusville. The Dragons then topped Commodore Perry (25-22) in the semifinals before sweeping Titusville (25-23, 25-20) to claim the championship.
