The Beaty girls 8th grade basketball team defeated Brookville 45-4 on Wednesday.
Alana Stuart led the way with 14, while Alyssa Farr had 12, Lindsay Madigan 11, Lily Walker four and Katie Krogler and Morgan Alexander each ended with two. The Dragons travel to Eisenhower on Thursday.
The Beaty girls 7th grade basketball team defeated Sheffield Tuesday, 22-15. Beaty was down 13-12 after three quarters but turned up the defense in the fourth, resulting in multiple steals and fast break points.
Meea Irwin, Leyna Irwin and JoJo Gray combined for all ten fourth-quarter points. Peyton Wotorson led Sheffield 11 points.
On Wednesday the 7th grade beat Brookville, 28-23. Meea Irwin led the way with 15 points and Leyna Irwin added 10 for the Lady Dragons.
