Audubon to Hold Free Sunday Story Time

After enjoying Audubon Community Nature Center’s First Sunday Story Time on August 6, 2–8 year olds and their adults can visit Audubon’s resident animals, like Lincoln, a Box Turtle. Both Story Time and Sunday building admission are free.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – The Audubon Community Nature Center will hold First Sunday Story Time on Aug. 6 for 2–8-year-old(s).

Children’s books are powerful tools to connect children to nature and establish a strong foundation for their educational journey.

At First Sunday Story Time children go on literary adventures with animals, through habitats and seasons, and discover new things with every page.

Doors open at 12:20 p.m. for the 12:30–1 p.m. event.

The program is free and so is Sunday admission. Come for stories and stay to explore the indoor Nature Play Area, live animals, and exhibits. Then go outside and enjoy the outdoor Nature Play Area and visit Soren, the Red-tailed Hawk, and Cricket, the American Kestrel.

Participation is limited to 15.

Reservations for Story Time are requested by Saturday, August 5. To reserve your space, call the Nature Center during open hours at (716) 569-2345 or go to AudubonCNC.org and click through Programs and Events.

Walk-ins are welcome if there is room.
