The US Department of Agriculture, Forest Service has approved the reauthorization and consolidation of special use permits held by National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation and National Fuel Gas Distribution Corporation on the Allegheny National Forest.
The reauthorizations will allow the corporations to continue the operations and maintenance of their existing pipelines, roads, and other facilities and infrastructure related to the supply and distribution of natural gas throughout the forest. New special use permits and long-term operations and maintenance plans, which are a part of the permits, will be issued.
