YOUNGSVILLE, Pa. – Youngsville’s Aden Hendrickson and Warren’s Alyssa Andersen both finished the week with handicap series over 700 to lead the Varsity Teams at Valley Bowling Center.
Hendrickson had a big series during Youngsville Middle/High School League play, to help lead him to a 758 handicap series for the week. While Hendrickson has earned Varsity Team status in previous weeks, the other three members of the boys team-Ian Darling (658), Ethan Johnson (645) and Jamal Tagba (640)-all made their first appearance of the season.
All four girls team members are Varsity Team veterans. Andersen led the way this week with a 729 handicap series. She was joined this week by Lauren Walker (683), Sydney Rex (648) and Corinthia Edwards (646).
This season, Valley Bowling Center has introduced the concept of weekly “varsity teams” based on series handicap. High school bowlers in the Saturday Strikers, Youngsville Middle/High School and Warren High School Leagues are eligible for the varsity teams.
