The Alpha Mu chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma held its 65th birthday celebration recently with a dinner, as well as a program facilitated by President Janet Peterson at the Jackson Valley Country Club in Warren.
Many members enjoyed the first in-person gathering with fellowship and memories.
Marcia Madigan, First Vice-President, read some of the first minutes of meetings from 1955 and 1956, the early years of the chapter.
Maria Palmieri was inducted into the chapter, and Terry Borger was presented with her 30-year pin by sister Mary Belleau. Norma Dey said a prayer before dinner. The evening ended with a delicious cake depicting our Alpha Mu chapter.
