Q&A

Q: What was the first sport you played? Why did you play it? Did you like it?
A: Soccer was the first sport I played because my parents wanted me to be active. I have mostly played for Kinzua and then for Falconer. I did like it, but they sadly didn’t have a girls’ team for my age group one year and I decided to stop playing.

Q: What is the most important factor in you being successful in high school athletics?
A: Good team morale and hard work. Also, never giving up when it gets tough.

Q: What is your favorite non-sports “go-to” activity?
A: Hanging out with my friends when I can.

Q: You could meet one sports figure, living or dead (1) who would it be and (2) what is the first thing you would ask them?
A: Madison Wiltrout. She is considered one of the best javelin throwers that came out of the state of Pennsylvania. I would ask her what her normal workout looked like.

Q: What is your favorite sport and if you could change one thing about your favorite sport, what would it be?
A: My favorite sport is volleyball. I’m a middle hitter, so I would love to be able to block a serve, but I understand why that is a rule.

Q: If you could eat any food in the world right now, what would it be?
A: Mashed potatoes with hamburger gravy.

Q: What is your ideal vacation spot?
A: Going to Hawaii.

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: How are your grades during the time you play sports? My grades always stay in the high 80s through the 90s. This past year I have gotten the merit honor roll for every marking period.
